K-Compass (ragAI)

K-Compass is an RAG AI-powered university programme assistant designed to make complex academic information easier to navigate.

Behind the scenes, K-Compass uses an advanced RAG pipeline combining intelligent document chunking, hybrid search, reranking, corrective retrieval, citation checking, and confidence scoring to produce accurate and trustworthy responses.

The project was developed as a dissertation and achieved a First-Class grade, demonstrating both the technical depth of the system and the research behind its design.
